In the tradition of Alfred Stieglitz, who dedicated much of his life to promoting the early careers of artists Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe and Henri Matisse, Robin Rice is both a photographer and gallery owner committed to supporting the work of established and emerging artists. The Robin Rice Gallery, located in the West Village, opened in 1990 and immediately caught the eye of fine art collectors, designers and the press, as a groundbreaking exhibition space that displayed images at once classical and innovative.

The Robin Rice Gallery unveils a new exhibit every six weeks, but Robin welcomes appointments to view all of her signature artists, including Jose Picayo, Danielle Epstein, Michael McLaughlin, John Dolan and Patricia Heal, to name a few. Prospective buyers can also make appointments to visit her Bridgehampton home, where she works as a private dealer and where clients can see how the work looks in a home setting. Robin enjoys this personal approach to advising clients and new art buyers and offers private consultations on developing a collection and installing art in the home.
